- Magnetic Cholangiopancreatography (MRCP): Uses special sequences to image the intra- and extrahepatic bile ducts, pancreatic duct and their branches. It can be used to investigate bile duct stones and potential neoplasms.
- Magnetic Urography: Based on static and dynamic imaging of the renal excretory system. When used with dynamic scanning after contrast administration, it provides a non-invasive analysis of renal perfusion, concentration and excretion.
- Magnetic Enterography: Useful for regular monitoring of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, especially Crohn’s disease, without using X-rays. It can also diagnose small intestine tumors.
- Magnetic Mammography: Recommended for preventive screening (in addition to digital mammography) for high-risk women, such as those with genetic predisposition or personal/family history of breast cancer. It is also used for preoperative staging to assess disease extent, search for primary lesions and investigate ambiguous findings in mammography, ultrasound, or clinical examination.
- Multiparametric MRI of the Prostate: A crucial tool for identifying and characterizing neoplastic lesions of the prostate, which are not visible in simple lower abdomen MRI. It aids in accurate disease staging, treatment planning and recurrence detection. It is also useful for guiding transrectal biopsy.
- MRI of the Rectum: Uses a special protocol with high-resolution thin slices in the area of interest. It is useful for detailed initial local staging of rectal cancer.
