With the color Triplex heart ultrasound, any heart hypertrophy, as well as the condition of the valves and heart muscle, is investigated. If there are risk factors for cardiovascular diseases (smoking, family history, obesity, hypertension, diabetes), it is advisable to repeat the heart ultrasound approximately annually.
